What is Mobile Computing?
Mobile computing is an interaction between human- computers. It is defined as “the ability to use the computing device without a pre-defined location and /or connection to a network to publish information and/or subscribe to information”.Mobile Wireless computing refers to the technology that support the transport of data between the mobile handheld computing device and the main computer system without a wired infrastructure between them.
Working of Mobile Wireless Computing: It needs three components for working. Firstly a mobile computing device is required to enter or access data. Then suitable a connecting technology that allows the information to be transmitted from the handheld computing device to the site’s computer system and vice versa and the last component required is a computer system.
Mobile Wireless Computing Devices: Some of the common mobile computing devices are listed below,
1.Web phones and Smartphone
2.PDA (Personal Digital Assistance)
3.Tablet computer
4.Ultra mobile PC

Technology is growing advanced and advanced as the generation goes by.A numerous innovation are given to the world of science and technology.Some of the innovation paved way to the growth of the mobile computing devices to the world. Basically these devices are invented for the business people group to meet their needs so that they can communicate with thier clients all over the globe.This communication was initially started with wired connection.Later as the technology grew communication does not require a wired infrastructure that is communication is through wireless connection.Now the electronic gadgets/devices are not only used by business people but they cover people over all the field.Some benefits are easy querying online ,children uses the gadgets for entertainment purpose like playing video game.Physician uses the wireless computing device for monitoring purpose so that they can have easy access to the report of the patient.Mobile computing is also used for security purposes.
Application of mobile computing is enormous and is hard to list them all.Mobile computing has become an inseperable part of human life in one or more ways.
